Our show features sculptural, unexpected Wearable Art:

Wearable art melds art and fashion, using the human form as a kinetic component of an original artistic piece. It may draw on familiar forms and fibers, or test the conceptual boundaries of apparel; as long as it is original, well constructed, and wearable, it fits the definition. Wearable art may be wild, whimsical, subtle, serious, provocative, humorous, exciting, inspiring, or outrageous. When worn by a human person, the pieces become a collaboration between artist and model.

We encourage provocative, challenging art in any media that must be wearable by a model on a runway. We are looking for inventive and exciting pieces! We welcome student entries.

For our 10th Anniversary we will have 3 runway shows:

  • Students - new pieces

  • Adults - new pieces

  • Legacy pieces

We look forward to bringing back spectacular legacy pieces from the show’s past, not only on the runway but around the venue so you can get up close and personal! This portion of the show will be a faster-paced runway show that gives us another look at these amazing pieces. These legacy pieces will compete for only ‘Legacy People’s Choice.

Models will exhibit on an 8’ wide lighted runway. The venue has seating for 600+ people and all previous shows have held an enthusiastic audience. Music provided by artist must be royalty free.
